Cloudy skies will persist this Tuesday in the north of the Canary Islands, according to the State Weather Agency (Aemet). The forecast indicates cloudy conditions in the north, with wide clearings opening up from midday onwards, and partly cloudy or clear skies in the rest of the islands.

Drizzle is likely in the north of the more mountainous islands during the early hours of the morning. Temperatures will remain unchanged, with thermometers ranging from a maximum of 26 degrees Celsius in Santa Cruz de Tenerife to a minimum of 19 degrees Celsius in Santa Cruz de La Palma.

The wind will blow moderately from the northeast, with intervals of strong winds on the southeast and northwest slopes of the islands, and a low probability of locally very strong gusts.
At sea, northeast winds will reach force 5, creating light to moderate swells.
