This Friday’s weather across the Canary Islands will see cloudy conditions in the lower northern and northeastern regions of the western province, with significant clearings in the afternoon, especially in the northwest. The remaining regions will experience mostly clear skies.
In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, expect partly cloudy skies, with early morning and late afternoon cloud intervals in the north and west. The lower areas of the north in the mountainous islands of the eastern province will see cloudy skies, which will clear significantly during the middle of the day.

According to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), there will be slight haze that is expected to dissipate as the day progresses.
Temperature-wise, there will be a slight decrease along the coasts, but temperatures could still climb to between 30-33 degrees Celsius in the south-facing, western, and lower midlands of Tenerife, La Palma, La Gomera, and El Hierro. Night temperatures might also remain high, potentially exceeding 25 degrees Celsius in the south-facing midlands and the southeastern facade of the metropolitan areas.
In Gran Canaria, the yellow warning for high temperatures remains in effect, with temperatures expected to hit 34 degrees in the peaks and midlands of the south, and 30 to 32 degrees locally in inland areas, midlands, and peaks facing south and west of Fuerteventura and Lanzarote.

Winds from the northeast will be moderate, with strong intervals in the extreme southeast and northwest, and along the southern facade of Anaga, where very strong gusts may occur in the afternoon. Breezes will prevail on the west coasts, while light and variable winds on the central summits are expected to strengthen to moderate from the northwest later in the day.
Marine conditions will feature north or northeasterly winds at force 5 or 6 on the southeast and west coasts, occasionally reaching force 7 offshore, with north or variable winds at force 3 or 4 in the north. Expect swell or strong swell in the southeast and west, with north swells of 1 meter, increasing to 1 to 2 meters. On the south and southwest coasts, the sea will show variable winds at 1 to 3 with breezes and rip or swell.
