The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a weather forecast for Tuesday, July 30, indicating a mix of weather conditions across the Canary Islands. In the northern regions of the more mountainous islands, residents can expect cloudy intervals, while other areas will experience less cloud cover, with scattered clouds particularly during the morning hours.


Temperatures across the islands will remain relatively stable. Santa Cruz de Tenerife will see temperatures fluctuating between a high of 30°C and a low of 24°C. Santa Cruz de La Palma will experience cooler temperatures, ranging from a high of 24°C to a low of 20°C. In San Sebastián de La Gomera, temperatures will hover between 27°C and 23°C, and in Valverde, the temperatures will range from 21°C down to 17°C.

In Gran Canaria, cloudy intervals will be prevalent, especially in the north with a tendency for cloudy skies during the early and late hours. There’s a slight chance of light and occasional showers during the morning, but the weather is expected to clear up as the day progresses, except for some cloud formation during midday.

For Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the day will begin with cloudy intervals, transitioning to predominantly clear skies in the afternoon.

Temperature shifts will be minimal, with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria expecting a high of 26°C and a low of 22°C.

Winds across the islands will generally be from the northeast, moderate with bouts of stronger winds anticipated on the southeast and west slopes by the afternoon. Coastal areas, particularly the southwest coasts, can expect breezy conditions.
