The Canary Islands are set to experience another rise in temperatures, as forecasted by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet). The region will see temperatures exceeding 30 degrees Celsius, with generally clear skies, though some morning cloud cover is expected in the northern parts of the islands.
Temperatures are expected to increase slightly across the islands, with more noticeable rises in the midlands and highland areas. The mercury will range from a maximum of 31 degrees Celsius to a minimum of 20 degrees Celsius.
Winds will blow moderately from the north, becoming stronger and shifting to a northeasterly direction, particularly in the midlands and high areas of the islands.
In the province of Las Palmas, temperatures will similarly rise, especially in the midlands and higher regions, with expected highs of up to 31 degrees Celsius and lows of around 21 degrees Celsius. The wind will continue to blow moderately from the north, intensifying and shifting northeast in the midlands and high areas of Gran Canaria.
