The Canarias Burger Fest is set to make its debut in Santa Cruz de La Palma on September 13th and 14th, 2024. This gastro-musical event will be held at the port area of the capital city and promises to be a celebration of culinary delights and entertainment, with free entry for all attendees. The festival will feature “the best burgers in the Archipelago” over the course of two days.
An Event Full of Flavours and Sounds
The initiative, presented by the Department of Commerce and Local Development, combines gastronomy, artisanal beers, and music, creating a vibrant atmosphere that has already seen great success in other parts of the Canary Islands. Omaira Pérez, acting mayor and councillor for the department, emphasized the festival’s appeal: “We will have eleven food trucks from La Palma, Tenerife, and Gran Canaria. There will also be vegan and gluten-free options, stalls for those with a sweet tooth, cocktail lovers, and fans of craft beers.”
A Culinary Extravaganza
This first edition of the Burger Fest aims to cater to a wide range of tastes and dietary preferences. The festival’s food offerings will include various types of burgers, from traditional meat-based options to creative vegan alternatives. Additionally, a variety of desserts, craft beers, and artisanal cocktails will be available, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy.
The event promises a delightful fusion of food and music, encouraging both locals and visitors to explore new flavours while enjoying a lively atmosphere with great entertainment.
Santa Cruz de La Palma looks forward to welcoming everyone to this exciting gastronomic celebration that showcases the rich culinary diversity of the Canary Islands.
