The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts clear skies over the central peaks, while the north and northeast areas will experience predominantly cloudy skies that may clear up from midday. There is a low chance of light, occasional rainfall during the early morning hours.
For the rest of the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, generally cloudy intervals are expected throughout the day. Temperatures will largely remain stable, with a slight rise in minimum temperatures possible in higher areas. The wind will blow moderately from the northeast, shifting to the southwest over the central summits, with light breezes expected along the west coast.
Weather Forecast for Las Palmas Province of the Canary Islands
In Las Palmas province, the north of Gran Canaria will see cloudiness, with clearer skies expected in the central hours of the day. There is a low probability of light rain in the early morning, while the rest of the island is expected to have partly cloudy or clear skies.
In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, cloudy conditions will dominate, with a tendency for skies to clear in the southern half from early in the day. The Aemet also warns of the potential presence of light haze at higher altitudes. Temperatures will remain fairly steady, ranging from a maximum of 26ºC to a minimum of 22ºC in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
Winds will be moderate from the northeast, with occasional strong gusts in the southeast and west in the afternoon, accompanied by breezes along the southwest coasts.
