Weather agency forecasts possible storms in the Canary Islands

Possible storms forecasted for the Canary Islands with mild temperature changes.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has announced the weather forecast for the Canary Islands for this Tuesday, predicting cloudy intervals in the northern regions of the islands, with clearings expected during the day. In other areas, the sky will remain mostly clear, with some cloud development in the afternoon and medium to high cloud cover, particularly later in the day.

There is a slight chance of light, scattered showers on the mountainous islands starting in the afternoon, and the possibility of isolated thunderstorms near the southern parts of the islands. Temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged, except for a moderate decrease in the maximum temperatures on the peaks of La Palma and Tenerife. Winds will generally be light to moderate from the north, with stronger westerly winds expected on the high peaks of Tenerife.
