Aemet forecasts stable temperatures with possible light showers in the Canary Islands.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has updated its forecast for this Thursday, indicating the presence of high cloudiness across the Canary Islands, with cloudy intervals expected on the northern slopes and more persistent cloud cover on the southern slopes. Weak, occasional showers are likely, particularly in the early morning in northern areas and in the afternoon in southern regions.


Temperatures are expected to remain stable, reaching a high of 27 degrees in Tenerife and a low of 15 degrees on El Hierro. Winds will be light and variable, becoming predominantly northerly in the afternoon.

In the province of Las Palmas, the forecast mirrors that of Tenerife, with high cloudiness and intervals of clouds expected in the northern part of Gran Canaria during the morning, extending towards the east and south later in the day.

For Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, high cloudiness will prevail, with some intervals along the eastern and western coasts during the early hours and throughout the morning.

In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, temperatures will range from a high of 25ºC to a low of 22ºC. Winds will generally be light, shifting towards a northerly direction with moderate gusts expected on the eastern and western coasts in the afternoon.
