Weather alert issued for the Canary Islands: Strong winds, calima, and rain expected in coming days

Aemet weather agency warns of strong winds, haze, and rain in the Canary Islands over the next few days, urging caution.

The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued a warning for the Canary Islands as intense winds, haze, and rain are anticipated in the upcoming days, brought on by a new DANA (Isolated High-Level Depression) that is set to affect the region. While the recent squall Kirk primarily caused strong swells along the islands’ coasts, further instability is expected in the days ahead.
