The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has updated the weather forecast for Tuesday in the Canary Islands, indicating that there will be cloudy intervals with some sunny breaks, especially in the north of the mountainous islands.
In detail, Aemet forecasts cloudy skies in the north during the early hours, with wide clearings expected by midday. In the rest of the islands, skies will generally be clear, except for occasional clouds in the west of Tenerife. There is also a low probability of light rain in the north of the mountainous islands during the morning and in the west of Tenerife later in the afternoon.
Temperature and Wind Conditions

Temperatures are expected to remain steady or decrease slightly. The wind will blow moderately from the northeast, with stronger gusts on the southeast and northwest slopes of the mountainous islands, bringing a breezy feel to these areas.
Las Palmas Province Forecast
For Las Palmas province, the weather will follow a similar pattern. Gran Canaria’s northern regions will see cloudy intervals with the chance of light rain early in the morning, followed by clearing skies around midday. The southern regions will remain largely clear throughout the day.

Lanzarote and Fuerteventura will also experience cloudy intervals in the north, with sunny breaks expected by midday. Temperatures will be relatively stable, with slight decreases in the southern midlands. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, temperatures will range from 22°C to a maximum of 25°C.
Winds and Maritime Conditions
The wind will be moderate from the northeast, with occasional stronger gusts in the extreme southeast and west of the islands. In higher elevations, there will be light winds from the northeast.
While the weather brings some cooler breezes, it’s still pleasant enough to enjoy the day without needing your coat.
