The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has released an updated weather forecast for the Canary Islands for Wednesday, highlighting stable maximum temperatures and a slight drop in minimum temperatures across the islands.
Santa Cruz de Tenerife province
In the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, the day will start with partly cloudy skies, with occasional intervals of cloud cover. By the afternoon, the cloud cover is expected to increase, particularly in inland areas and along the southern slopes of the islands. There is a low probability of light, occasional rainfall during this period.

Temperatures will remain stable, with maximum temperatures holding steady between 24ºC and 18ºC, while minimum temperatures will see a slight decrease. Winds will be variable, with coastal areas likely to experience gentle breezes.
Weather forecast for Las Palmas province
For Gran Canaria, the forecast indicates mostly clear skies in the morning, with some cloudy intervals expected along the northern coast. As the day progresses, the inland areas and southern slopes may experience more cloud cover, along with the possibility of light, sporadic rain.

In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the day will predominantly feature cloudy intervals, especially inland during the afternoon. Minimum temperatures in these areas are also expected to drop slightly, particularly in the interior, while maximum temperatures will remain largely unchanged. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, temperatures are forecasted to range between 23ºC and 18ºC.
The wind will remain light and predominantly northerly across the islands, with no significant changes expected.
As the Canary Islands experience mild weather fluctuations, the cooler nights and occasional clouds make for a generally pleasant Wednesday, with only light rain possible in select areas.
