The Repsol Guide has recently introduced over 300 new ‘Soletes con Solera’ across Spain, celebrating establishments that embody tradition and enduring charm. Among these is Guachinche La Morra in El Rosario, Tenerife, renowned for its authentic Canarian cuisine and high-quality meats. The menu features traditional dishes and grilled meats that highlight local flavours. Patrons have praised its friendly and attentive service, as well as its terrace offering scenic sea and mountain views.
In total, 14 new ‘Soletes’ have been awarded in the Canary Islands:
- Bar Tatono in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
- Bar Hermanos Díaz in Arucas, Gran Canaria
- Cafetería Atlantis in Santa Cruz de Tenerife
- Restaurante Casa Tomás in Teguise, Gran Canaria
- Restaurante Charco del Conde in Valle Gran Rey, La Gomera
- Restaurante La Majada in Artenara, Gran Canaria
- Restaurante La Morra in El Rosario, Tenerife
- Restaurante La Travesía de Triana in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
- Mesón Jarera in San Andrés, Santa Cruz de Tenerife
- Restaurante Mis Abuelos in Morro Jable, Fuerteventura
- Bar San Antonio del Monte in Garafía, La Palma
- Restaurante San Diego in La Orotava, Tenerife
- Teleclub de Tao in Teguise, Lanzarote
Since their inception in the summer of 2021, the ‘Soletes’ have recognised establishments across six categories: bars, taverns, cafés and patisseries, restaurants and eating houses, and wine and cocktail bars. This initiative celebrates businesses that have maintained their appeal over time and supports emerging ventures that uphold authentic culinary traditions.
