Weather forecast for the Canary Islands: From rain to calima, Aemet predicts a calmer Wednesday

The Canary Islands expect calmer weather on Wednesday, with haze and rising temperatures.

The Canary Islands can expect milder weather conditions on Wednesday, with a shift from recent rains to hazy skies and warmer temperatures. The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts cloudy intervals, primarily due to medium and high-altitude clouds, along with light clouds along northern slopes. While the region will experience generally stable weather, occasional light precipitation in higher altitudes cannot be ruled out.

The Directorate General for Emergencies has officially lifted the pre-alert for rainfall across the Canary Islands. This decision comes following a calmer weather outlook, in line with AEMET’s forecast, and marks the conclusion of the Specific Emergency Plan for Adverse Meteorological Phenomena Risks (PEFMA).

Residents and visitors can enjoy a more stable weather day, with only minor disturbances like haze and light clouds affecting the islands.
