The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued its weather forecast for the Canary Islands for Monday, November 25. Weak and occasional showers are expected in the afternoon on most islands, with the exception of Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, where conditions will remain dry. The earlier threat of storms has subsided.
Maritime Forecast:
The seas will experience southwest winds at force 4 to 6, easing to 3 to 5 later in the evening, with variable winds at force 1 to 3. Waves will decrease from swell or heavy swell to rough conditions, with north-westerly swells of 1 to 2 metres rising to 2 to 3 metres.

Lanzarote
Cloudy intervals with significant clear skies during the central part of the day. Minimum temperatures will show little change, while maximum temperatures will experience a slight decline. Light variable winds with breezes will dominate, shifting to light-to-moderate east and northeast winds by late afternoon.
Fuerteventura
Partly cloudy with clearer skies during the middle of the day. Temperatures will remain steady or slightly decrease, with a more noticeable drop in minimum temperatures in the south and maximums in the north. Gran Canaria

Minimum temperatures will remain steady on the coast but slightly lower inland. Maximum temperatures will see minor declines, more prominent on the northern and eastern slopes.
Light south-westerly winds will shift to variable directions, with moderate easterly winds in the afternoon and north-easterly winds in the evening. On the summits, moderate southwest winds will ease to light by the afternoon. Breezes will prevail along the coast.
Tenerife
Partly cloudy skies will become overcast in the north and northeast by the afternoon. Weak and occasional showers are likely in the north and northeast, possibly intensifying locally. Minimum temperatures will remain unchanged, with slight declines on the southwestern slopes. Maximum temperatures will remain stable but may experience minor drops on the northern and eastern slopes.
Light winds, predominantly south-westerly in the early morning, will shift to north-easterly by the evening. Moderate south-westerly winds on the summits will ease in the afternoon. Breezes will dominate along the coast.
La Gomera
Cloudy intervals will increase in the north during the afternoon, with a chance of light and occasional showers. Temperatures will show little change, with a slight drop possible. Light variable winds will dominate, accompanied by breezes along the coast. On the summits, south-westerly winds will generally remain light.
La Palma
Cloudy intervals may bring light and occasional rain in the north and northeast in the afternoon. Minimum temperatures may drop slightly in the north and northeast, while maximum temperatures are expected to rise slightly, especially in the midlands and summits. Light variable winds will dominate, with breezes along the coast. On the summits, light westerly winds are expected.
El Hierro
Cloudy intervals with potential light and occasional showers in the north during the second half of the day. Temperatures will remain mostly unchanged, with a slight increase on the southwest slopes. Light variable winds will prevail, with breezes along the coast. On the summits, light westerly winds will dominate.
