The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued an updated weather forecast for this Wednesday across the Canary Islands, highlighting the likelihood of strong winds in certain areas, while overall temperatures are expected to remain relatively stable.
General Forecast for the Archipelago
According to Aemet, the northern regions of the islands will see cloudy intervals with patchy drizzle in the early hours. In the rest of the territory, skies will generally remain cloudy, with intermittent clear spells likely on the south-western slopes during the early morning. High-level clouds are expected to increase during the afternoon.

Temperatures will remain largely unchanged, with maximum values reaching around 23°C in Tenerife, and minimums dropping to 13°C in El Hierro.
Moderate north-easterly winds will dominate, intensifying in the far western and south-eastern zones, where occasional very strong gusts are not ruled out.
Forecast for the Eastern Province (Las Palmas)
In Gran Canaria, cloudy conditions are expected in the north, while the rest of the island will see mainly clear skies, except for the southern slopes, where early morning cloud cover is anticipated.

In Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, skies will be mostly clear, although cloud intervals are expected in the northern and western parts during the early hours and throughout the day.
Temperature-wise, minimums will remain steady, while maximums may see little to no change or a slight dip. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the temperature range is forecast between 19°C (minimum) and 22°C (maximum).
As for the wind, a moderate north-easterly breeze will persist throughout the day, with strong intervals likely in the north-western and south-eastern extremes, where very strong gusts may occur. In higher altitudes, the wind will pick up in the afternoon, reaching strong intensity, again with the possibility of occasional severe gusts.
