The unsettled weather continues across the Canary Islands, as Tuesday brings persistent cloud cover to the northern regions of the higher islands. According to the State Meteorological Agency (AEMET), light and occasional rain is expected, particularly in mid-altitude zones and north-facing slopes.

At sea, northeasterly winds are forecast at force 3 to 5, increasing locally to force 6 in the southeast and northwest, where heavy swells are also expected. In the southwest, winds will be more variable, between force 2 and 3, with calmer seas. A northern swell will generate waves of up to two metres in height.
