The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts a day of generally warm weather across the Canary Islands this Saturday, with partly cloudy conditions prevailing across most areas. Low-lying regions in the north of the islands will see more persistent cloud cover, particularly during the morning and late afternoon hours.
In the northeast, there remains a chance of light, isolated showers in the late afternoon, although these are expected to be brief and scattered.
Temperatures

The temperature profile across the archipelago will remain mostly stable, with only slight decreases expected in maximum temperatures over the northern midlands of some islands.
- Tenerife could see daytime highs reaching up to 29ºC, while
- El Hierro will register the lowest temperatures, dropping to around 15ºC overnight.
Winds and Gusts
Typical of the season, the northeast trade winds will continue to sweep the region, but they are forecast to intensify in certain zones.
- Strong wind intervals are expected across the southeast and northwest slopes of the islands, particularly in the early to mid-afternoon, where locally very strong gusts may occur.
- In contrast, the southwestern coastlines will experience lighter breezes, offering some respite from the otherwise breezy day.
Island Highlights

Gran Canaria:
- The day will be mostly sunny or partly cloudy, with cloudier conditions in northern lowlands.
- Scattered showers could develop late in the afternoon, though they are expected to be light.
- Temperatures in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will hover between 21ºC and 24ºC.
- Winds will blow moderately from the northeast, strengthening in the southeast and northwest during the afternoon.
