The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) has issued a mixed weather forecast for this Monday across the Canary Islands, with cloud cover, scattered light rain, and moderate temperatures expected across the archipelago.
Tenerife: Cloudy in the North, Clearer Elsewhere
According to AEMET, in the north of Tenerife, below 1,300 to 1,400 metres, the skies will be mainly cloudy, with sunny intervals around midday. There is a low chance of light, occasional rainfall, especially in the northeastern midlands, during the early morning and evening hours.
In the rest of the island, skies will be partly cloudy, with more consistent cloud cover possible in western areas during the morning.
Temperatures: Slight Rise in Daytime Highs

- Tenerife may see highs of 29 °C,
- While El Hierro is expected to record minimums around 19 °C.
Wind: Trade Winds with Strong Gusts
- Moderate trade winds will dominate throughout the day.
- Stronger gusts are forecast in:
- The north-western and south-eastern extremes
- The southern flank of the metropolitan area
Province of Las Palmas: North-South Divide in Weather Conditions
Gran Canaria

Elsewhere on the island, partly cloudy to clear skies will prevail.
Lanzarote and Fuerteventura

Both islands will experience cloudy intervals, particularly during the morning, with more persistent cloud cover expected in the northern and western zones. While rainfall is not ruled out, it is considered unlikely.
Temperature and Wind Outlook
- Temperatures will remain mostly unchanged, with slight increases possible in inland and southern regions.
- In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, temperatures are forecast to range between 21 °C and 25 °C.
As for the wind:
- Moderate to strong trade winds will affect the southeast and western parts of the province.
A Transitional Weather Pattern
After a period of intense heat, the Canary Islands begin the week with a cooler and more variable weather pattern, bringing occasional drizzle and renewed breezes—although warmer temperatures may return in the coming days.
