The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has issued its forecast for the Canary Islands for Thursday, pointing to slightly cloudy skies, the gradual dissipation of haze at high altitudes, and only minor changes in temperatures.
General Conditions
In most of the archipelago, skies will be slightly cloudy or clear, while in the north of the islands cloudier conditions will dominate during the morning and late afternoon, clearing as the day progresses. The light haze present at higher levels will gradually subside.
Temperatures

Overall, temperatures will remain largely unchanged, with only slight drops in inland and southeastern areas.
- In Tenerife, the maximum will reach around 27ºC.
- In El Hierro, the minimum is expected to be about 19ºC.
- In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, values will range between 22ºC and 25ºC.
Although a slight cooling trend is noted, local highs of up to 30ºC are still possible in the south-facing midlands.
Wind Forecast
The wind will blow from the northeast, with strong intervals expected along the southeast and northwest coasts, particularly during the early morning, when occasional very strong gusts cannot be ruled out.
In the mountainous areas, winds will remain light, mainly from the west to north.
Island-by-Island Forecast

- Gran Canaria: Cloudy skies in the north during the early morning and again towards evening, easing to cloudy intervals during central hours. The rest of the island will enjoy slightly cloudy or clear skies, with haze aloft dissipating through the day.
- Lanzarote and Fuerteventura: Predominantly clear skies, with some morning cloud on the eastern side. Haze at altitude will also fade as the day advances.
The forecast indicates a more stable day for the Canary Islands, with haze clearing, only minor drops in temperature, and the persistence of trade winds, strongest on the southeast and northwest coasts.
