The Canary Islands begin the week with a slight rise in temperatures and the possibility of very strong wind gusts in high areas of Tenerife from the afternoon onwards. This is according to the latest update from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) for Monday, 27 October 2025.
Changeable Weather, No Alerts Issued
Although no weather warnings have been activated, the forecast suggests a day of variable conditions across the archipelago. Skies will alternate between cloudy intervals and clear spells, with the possible development of afternoon cloudiness on the eastern slopes of the larger islands as the day progresses.
Winds Strengthening Over Tenerife

The wind will play a key role on Monday, particularly on Tenerife. Aemet expects light westerly winds, more intense in areas of the western province, while a sea breeze regime will prevail on the eastern islands.
In Tenerife’s central peaks, winds will blow moderate to strong, with locally very strong gusts likely by the end of the day.
Slight Rise in Temperatures

Temperatures will rise slightly throughout the islands. The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 27°C in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, and about 26°C in Las Palmas.
This thermal increase will be most noticeable in mid-altitude and inland areas, where the atmosphere will feel warmer compared with previous days.
