AEMET forecast for the Canary Islands: the rain is not going away

Clouds and light showers will linger across the Canary Islands, with mild temperatures and gentle coastal breezes.

The State Meteorological Agency (AEMET) forecasts a cloudy and unsettled Saturday across much of the Canary Islands, with conditions varying between islands and altitudes. While rainfall will be limited, occasional and scattered showers cannot be ruled out, especially in inland and western areas during the early morning and midday hours.

General forecast for the archipelago

Cloud cover will persist across the islands, with a greater concentration of clouds in the west and in inland zones. The rest of the islands will see alternating clear and cloudy intervals throughout the day.

Temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged, though slight increases in maximum values are likely in high-altitude regions.
