Today’s forecast indicates cloudy intervals across much of the archipelago, becoming overcast in the north during the morning and in inland areas on southern slopes later in the day. Light rain is likely in northern areas during the morning, with a chance of occasional showers elsewhere as the day progresses.
Temperatures will remain mostly stable, although slight drops in maximum values are expected at higher altitudes. The thermometers will range from around 24ºC in Tenerife to a minimum of 16ºC in El Hierro.
Winds will blow from the northeast, occasionally reaching strong intensity in the southeast and far west of the islands.

In Gran Canaria, light rain is likely in the north, while elsewhere on the island there will be cloudy intervals, tending to overcast by midday with a chance of isolated showers in the southern interior.
On Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, skies will remain partly cloudy with a low probability of rain, although occasional drizzle cannot be entirely ruled out.
Temperatures in these eastern islands will remain steady or fall slightly in inland areas. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, values will range from 19ºC at night to 24ºC during the day.

Across the archipelago, northeasterly winds will generally be moderate, picking up strength at times in exposed coastal and mountainous areas, particularly in the southeast and northwest.
Aemet expects the unsettled weather to continue in the coming days, bringing periods of light to moderate rainfall and persistent cloud cover, especially in northern and midland areas of the western islands.
