The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) forecasts that rain will continue across the Canary Islands today, particularly in northern areas, where skies will remain mostly cloudy with occasional light showers. In the rest of the archipelago, cloudy intervals are expected, becoming overcast in the south after midday, with light and scattered rainfall possible.
Temperatures will remain generally stable, with highs around 23°C in Tenerife and lows near 14°C on El Hierro.
Winds will blow moderately from the northeast, easing gradually throughout the day to become light by evening.
In Gran Canaria, the north will see cloudy skies and light rain during the morning, with improving conditions in the afternoon. Elsewhere on the island, cloudy intervals will dominate, tending to thicken later in the day, especially in southern inland areas, where brief showers are possible.

On Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, partly cloudy skies will prevail, with a chance of light, isolated rain at times.
Maximum temperatures will stay similar to previous days, while minimum values are expected to drop slightly, particularly inland. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, temperatures will range between 19°C and 23°C.
Across the eastern islands, winds will be light to moderate from the north, occasionally strengthening along exposed coasts.
Aemet notes that unsettled conditions are likely to continue in the coming days, bringing persistent cloud cover and light rain, especially in northern and midland areas of the western islands.
