The State Meteorological Agency (Aemet) has confirmed that the unsettled weather will continue across the Canary Islands this Wednesday, with widespread cloud cover and further rainfall, particularly in the northern areas and at higher altitudes.
Throughout the day, skies will be mostly cloudy, though occasional sunny intervals may appear in the south. Light to moderate rain is expected on the northern slopes and could become persistent in mid-altitude and highland zones. On the southern sides of the islands, Aemet notes only a small chance of brief, weak showers.

Temperatures will show little variation compared with previous days. Highs will reach around 21°C in Tenerife, while the lowest temperatures will drop to around 13°C in El Hierro.
Winds will blow from the northeast, generally moderate but with strong intervals in the southeast and western areas.
Island-by-island overview
Gran Canaria
Cloudy skies will dominate, with clearer intervals in the south. Light to moderate rainfall is expected across the island, potentially persistent in the northern midlands and summit areas. In the southern half, rain will be more occasional and less likely.
Lanzarote and Fuerteventura
Both islands will start the day under cloudy skies, with a high probability of light rain during the morning. Conditions are expected to improve slightly after midday, giving way to periods of partial cloudiness.

Minimum temperatures will remain stable, while daytime highs will fall slightly. In Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, temperatures will range from 18°C to 21°C.
Wind conditions
A moderate northerly wind will prevail, with strong intervals along the eastern and western slopes where locally very strong gusts cannot be ruled out. In mountainous areas, strong northerly winds are likely, again with possible very strong gusts.
