The Canary Islands will experience a noticeable improvement in weather conditions this Tuesday, with the return of largely settled and sunny skies, according to the latest forecast issued by the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
For most of the archipelago, skies are expected to remain generally clear throughout the day. However, some cloudy intervals may appear during the early morning hours in eastern and northern areas, while additional cloud cover could develop in western parts of the islands during the afternoon. Despite these brief variations, stable weather will dominate across the islands.
Temperatures will show only minor changes. Minimum temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged, although slightly cooler conditions may be felt in higher elevations and on the western slopes. Maximum temperatures, meanwhile, will rise slightly across most areas, except in the central high peaks, where little variation is anticipated. Thermometers are forecast to reach highs of up to 23°C in Tenerife, while the lowest temperatures could drop to around 9°C in El Hierro.

Winds will be light and variable for much of the day, with coastal areas experiencing gentle sea breezes. During the second half of the day, winds will predominantly blow from the west. In mountainous areas, winds will be moderate and also mainly westerly.
Gran Canaria forecast
Gran Canaria will follow a similar pattern, with mostly clear skies expected throughout the day. Cloudy intervals may occur in the eastern and northern parts of the island during the early morning, while some cloud cover could appear in western areas later in the afternoon. Overall, sunshine will prevail for most of the day.

Temperatures on the island will remain stable, with minimum values showing little change, particularly in higher areas and on the western side. Maximum temperatures will rise slightly, except in the central highlands, where they are expected to remain steady. Winds will be light and variable, with coastal breezes and a predominance of westerly winds later in the day. In mountainous zones, winds will blow moderately from the west.
Overall, Tuesday will mark a welcome return to calmer and sunnier conditions across the Canary Islands, offering a brief respite before the potential arrival of new weather disturbances later in the week.
