The closing weekend of the Piñata Carnival promises a marathon celebration in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, with music and festivities set to continue for more than 18 uninterrupted hours. Organised by the City Council through Fiestas de Santa Cruz, the programme will begin at midday on Saturday and continue into the early hours of Sunday morning, transforming the city centre into a vibrant open-air stage.
Francisco La Roche: International Stars and Headline Acts
The main stage at Francisco La Roche will host many of the weekend’s biggest names. The programme gets underway at 2:00 pm with DJ Wes warming up the crowd, followed at 3:30 pm by Cuban singer Leoni Torres. At 5:00 pm, Anaé will take to the stage, setting the scene for a lively early evening.
At 5:30 pm, merengue favourite Eddy Herrera will perform for an hour and a half before handing over to local icon Pepe Benavente. From 7:30 pm, Colombian star Sebastián Yatra will bring his signature Latin pop sound, leading into Tay de León at 9:00 pm.

As night falls, one of the most anticipated performances of the weekend begins: Nicky Jam will appear at 9:30 pm, performing until 11:00 pm. The night will then continue with DJ Jonay, who will keep the atmosphere alive until 6:00 am.
Plaza de La Candelaria: Orchestras and Carnival Groups
At the Dormitorum stage in Plaza de La Candelaria, the day will open with carnival troupes performing until 1:00 pm. Nueva Línea will then take over, followed by Pepe Benavente and El Morocho, each performing half-hour sets from 1:30 pm.
At 2:30 pm, Tonny Tun Tun will bring more tropical rhythm, followed by Maquinaria Band at 4:00 pm. Nueva Línea will return from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. From 7:00 pm onwards, orchestras will alternate approximately every hour and a quarter, including Orquesta Saoco, Wamampy, Tropin, Generasión, Sonora Olympia and Dinacord. DJ Osorio will close the stage at 6:00 am.

Plaza del Príncipe: Radio and Live Bands
In Plaza del Príncipe, COPE radio will broadcast live from 12 noon until 9:00 pm. From 9:15 pm onwards, Varadera 103, the Tenerife Orchestra, the Maracaibo Orchestra and Banda Loca will take turns performing in two-hour intervals, keeping the party going until 6:00 am.
Piñata Sunday: The Grand Finale
After an intense Saturday of non-stop music, Piñata Sunday will mark the grand finale of this year’s Carnival, dedicated to “Latin Rhythms”. Carnival groups and performers will once again fill the streets, while the third edition of the Senior Carnival and the traditional fireworks display will bring the celebrations to a spectacular close.
