At the latest addition to the Doctor Blas García Clinics, the country’s most advanced laser technology is combined with specialist medical care to offer personalised treatments and visible results. Under the medical direction of Nélida Díaz, the clinic is committed to aesthetic medicine based on innovation, prevention and respect for the skin’s natural processes.

Laser technology to treat the skin at its root

Laser technology has become one of the greatest allies of modern aesthetic medicine. Thanks to its precision and versatility, it allows for the treatment of multiple skin conditions and improves skin quality progressively and safely.

“At the moment, there is no laser in Spain as powerful as Element. It is a long-pulse laser with three wavelengths. This allows us to treat pigmentation, perform non-ablative rejuvenation — that is, without causing damage to the skin’s surface — and also treat inflammatory conditions such as rosacea, acne or psoriasis,” explains the expert.

This type of technology allows for deep treatment without the need for invasive procedures, something particularly valued by patients seeking to improve their skin health without disrupting their daily routine.

Furthermore, the treatment can be used as an alternative or complement to other dermatological approaches. “For patients who do not wish to take any medication or who prefer not to use topical treatments for various reasons, we can provide maintenance treatment with this laser,” adds the expert.

A commitment to regenerative medicine

Beyond laser technology, the clinic is committed to another major advance in modern aesthetic medicine: regenerative medicine. This approach seeks to stimulate the body’s own mechanisms to improve skin quality from within. Treatments include techniques such as the use of platelet-rich plasma or polynucleotides, substances that help stimulate cell regeneration and improve the skin’s texture, radiance and elasticity.

The key to these types of procedures lies in prevention. “We carry out facial treatments, on the lips or under-eye area, but we also work extensively with regenerative medicine, using platelets or polynucleotides, which is what we are currently able to inject in Spain,” explains Díaz.

According to the expert, “acting before the signs of ageing become established allows for much more natural and long-lasting results. It is above all about preventing ageing, because it is much easier to prevent it than to treat it once it has set in,” she notes.

The space has been conceived as an environment where science coexists with artistic sensibility.

A space where medicine engages with art

The clinic’s philosophy goes beyond aesthetic treatment. The space has been conceived as an environment where science coexists with artistic sensibility, creating a unique experience for patients. Within its premises, one can find works by various Canarian artists that accompany visitors on their tour of the clinic and reinforce the idea that aesthetics can also be understood as a form of expression. “We have always been great lovers of art, which is why we have chosen to feature Canarian artists in our clinics,” explains the doctor.

The space has been designed as an environment where science and artistic sensibility coexist.

Among the pieces featured in the space are works by renowned figures in Canarian art, alongside creations by contemporary artists who are beginning to make their mark on the cultural scene. “We have works by classic artists such as César Manrique and Manolo Millares, but also by more contemporary artists like Pilar Acosta and Alba Dorta, who are young women now making their mark in the art world,” she adds.

A vision of aesthetics based on naturalness

In a constantly evolving sector, the approach of the Doctor Blas García Clinics is committed to aesthetic medicine based on naturalness, prevention and scientific knowledge. Each treatment is designed on a personalised basis, taking into account the characteristics of each patient and always seeking balanced and harmonious results.

For Dr. Nélida Díaz, aesthetic medicine is much more than a question of appearance. It is a field where medical precision and aesthetic sensitivity go hand in hand. All of this is underpinned by her philosophy: where science becomes art.
