Vueling announces 42 new national and international routes from the Canary Islands

Vueling schedules more than 40 routes from the Canary Islands to various points in Spain and abroad in summer

The IAG group company, Vueling, has scheduled a total of 42 routes, 12 of them international, from the Canary Islands for this summer. Specifically, nine are from Lanzarote, six from Fuerteventura, 12 from Gran Canaria, 13 from Tenerife and two from La Palma.


In addition, the airline will increase its frequencies to 14 routes this summer to reinforce the national and international connectivity of the archipelago, with reinforcements in Paris Orly (France) or Bilbao, among others.

Vueling will connect Lanzarote with nine destinations, including: Paris Orly (France), Barcelona, Malaga, Bilbao, Oviedo, Santiago de Compostela, Valencia, Seville and Zaragoza. In addition to this, Lanzarote will increase its frequencies in summer to Barcelona, Paris Orly (France), Oviedo, Santiago de Compostela and Seville, among others.

In the case of Fuerteventura, there will be direct flights to five Spanish cities, such as Barcelona, Malaga, Bilbao, Santiago de Compostela and Seville, while it will connect the island with Paris Orly (France), reinforcing its international frequency.

Vueling will also connect Gran Canaria with the international destinations of London Gatwick (United Kingdom), Copenhagen (Denmark) and Paris Charles de Gaulle (France), as well as with nine Spanish cities: Barcelona, Malaga, Alicante, Bilbao, Granada, Oviedo, Seville, Valencia and Santiago de Compostela. It is also increasing its frequencies to Malaga, Santiago de Compostela, Paris Charles de Gaulle (France) and London Gatwick (United Kingdom), among others.

In addition, the company will operate 13 destinations from Tenerife airports, three of them international, which will be: Lisbon (Portugal), Paris Orly (France) and London Gatwick (United Kingdom), while the 10 Spanish cities with which it will connect are Barcelona, Malaga, Alicante, Bilbao, Granada, Oviedo, Santiago de Compostela, Seville, Valencia and Zaragoza. It is also increasing its frequencies to destinations such as Malaga and London (UK), among others.

Finally, from La Palma the airline will connect with direct flights to Barcelona and will reinforce its frequencies to the city of Bilbao.

Vueling will operate a total of 278 routes in the summer to 104 destinations in Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. In this way, the company offers 53 new routes compared to the summer of 2019 and 22 new ones compared to 2022. In addition, nine of these connections are being marketed for the first time this summer.
