According to the report ‘Social recognition of Canary Islands companies and entrepreneurship’ conducted by the Spanish Confederation of Business Organizations (CEOE) of Tenerife, in collaboration with the Canary Islands Government and prepared by Servicios Avanzados de Opinión (SAO), HiperDino, the leading food chain in the Canary Islands and the only 100% regional chain, has been selected as the most socially responsible company in the Canary Islands.
The report highlights that 25% of the respondents recognized HiperDino as the company that puts forth the greatest effort to benefit society in the Canary Islands. Following closely behind were Fred Olsen and Hospiten with 8% and 5% of the votes, respectively.
The aspects that received the highest appreciation were the company’s contribution to job creation and maintenance, sponsorships, care for the environment, and competitive prices, discounts, offers, and promotions.
