An emblematic musical group “Los Sabandeños” performs in La Palma affected by the eruption of the volcano

The musical ensemble performs a concert, organised by the Rotary Clubs of the Canary Islands with charitable purposes.

Los Sabandeños, the emblematic musical group of the archipelago, made a new gesture of solidarity with the people of La Palma, in the wake of the consequences suffered on the island – and still being suffered – since the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano on 19 September 2021. The Rotary Club La Laguna, in collaboration with all the Rotary Clubs of the Canary Islands, organised a benefit concert in the Auditorio de Tenerife, in the capital of Tenerife, by the traditional music group from Aguere.

The entire proceeds from the sale of tickets for performance by Los Sabandeños will go to the project being carried out by the Canary Islands Rotarians with the aim of building a new school in La Palma, thus helping to make up for the lack of educational infrastructure resulting from the eruption.

The event, which had the collaboration of the Diario de Avisos Foundation, Canary Islands public television (TVC), Binter Airlines and Radio Cope, placed tickets on sale at the price of 15 euros, while at the same time enabling an possibility to make donations for all those people or entities who want to collaborate in this project.
