Clouds and light showers across the Canary Islands with stable temperatures

Today's weather across the Canary Islands features cloudy intervals with light showers in specific areas, alongside stable temperatures and moderate northeastern winds.

Today’s weather forecast for the Canary Islands indicates a varied pattern across the region. In the northern parts of the islands, as well as the southwest of Tenerife and the west of La Palma during the central hours of the day, skies will predominantly feature cloudy intervals accompanied by probable light and occasional showers. Conversely, the rest of the islands are expected to experience minimal cloud coverage.


Temperature-wise, there will be little variation. In Santa Cruz de Tenerife, temperatures are set to range between a high of 24 degrees Celsius and a low of 18 degrees. Santa Cruz de La Palma will see temperatures fluctuating between 20 degrees as a maximum and 16 degrees as a minimum. San Sebastián de La Gomera will record temperatures of up to 23 degrees and a minimum of 19 degrees, while in Valverde, temperatures will hover between 16 degrees at their highest and 13 degrees at their lowest. Winds across these areas will be moderate, blowing from the northeast.

Moving over to Lanzarote and Fuerteventura, the day will also be marked by cloudy intervals. In the northern part of Gran Canaria, similar conditions will prevail with cloudy intervals and potential for light, sporadic showers. The rest of this island will enjoy partly cloudy skies.

Temperatures in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will oscillate between a high of 23 degrees Celsius and a low of 18 degrees. Both Arrecife and Puerto del Rosario will experience maximum temperatures of around 23 degrees Celsius and minimums of 16 degrees. Like in the other islands, the wind will consistently blow from the northeast with moderate strength.
